This person supervises the operation, organization, and administration of The College Store consistent with National Association of College Stores (NACS) guidelines and the mission of both the College and The College Store. The desired candidate will have experience in systems/procedure development.
Minimum education and experience include Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or related discipline OR, associate degree plus seven (7) years of business or retail management experience with three being in a supervisory position; and five (5) years business or retail management experience to include supervisory and budgetary responsibility, preferably in a college environment.
Minimum abilities and skills include effective oral and written communication skills; must be innovative and creative; thorough knowledge of retail operations; knowledge of or ability to learn governmental/sponsor requirements for student purchases; must be able to deal with dynamic environment with a focus on shifting industry standards, new and emerging trends, and change management; ability to cost out product items and determine retail price based on desired sales price and revenue; and commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
