Internal Number: 1126 Job Summary: Assist the Director in coordinating the daily operations and activities within the Campus Store. Provide customer service and assist with opening and closing, purchasing, pricing, and inventory management within the Campus Store and MACs Convenience Store. Provide leadership for PCI Compliance, online sales, and the store's social media presence.
Essential Duties:
Qualifications: High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail or a related field; demonstrated experience working with inventory management and retail point-of-sale operating systems; strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, ability to work well with the public with an emphasis on customer service; ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; strong computer skills with a thorough knowledge of computer operating systems and their usage; familiarity with multiple computer based programs such as Windows Operating System, Email, Internet Programs, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Point of Sale systems; flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and ability to lift and/or carry 50 lbs. are required.
Work Environment: Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, include long periods of standing, bending or kneeling. The position may require lifting to 50 lbs. Talking and listening are also done regularly. The work for this position is generally in an indoor environment setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, they may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside processes/activities. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
