The Assistant Manager assists the Manager with day-to-day operations of both campus stores (Big Rapids & Grand Rapids), including the administration of the textbook and course material ordering program offered in partnership with the contracted online textbook partner. The Assistant Manager assists in the administration of operational policies, procedures and processes along with merchandise receiving, data entry, merchandising, and the stocking of products. This position assists with the training and supervision of student and part-time staff and is responsible for both store activities in the absence of the Campus Store Manager.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Equivalency for education is two years of work experience equals one year of education.

At least one year of prior experience in a retail environment with a supervisory role including sales, cash handling, point of sale systems, inventory and merchandise management experience.
